Speaking of milestones, just a little over a year after its first launch there are now over 100 000 apps to choose from for your iPad. In total there are now over 500 000 apps available for iPad, iTunes and iPod touch. And given how relatively few people that have iPads today, we can only imagine what will happen in the future.

TWITTER HITS 200 MILLION-MARK

During June, Twitter reached a new milestone when over 200 million tweets were sent out in one day. This represents 2 400 tweets per second, and means that Twitter has quadrupled the number of tweets in just one year. This shows that people are only just now starting to realize the power of social media, and there is still so much to gain out there.
